Just thought I'd share this here. Sword and Laser is part of the "Geek and Sundry" webseries started by Felicia Day. Geek and Sundry is a collection of webseries aimed at, well, people like us!
TableTop, by Wil Wheaton is a BiMonthly Boardgaming Series
Dark Horse is a look at Animated Graphic Novels
Written by a Kid is a series that takes a story created by a child and attempts to make a short movie or animation based on it
There are several others, but Sword and Laser is one of my favourites (after TableTop). Its a book club dedicated to Fantasy and SciFi literature where the presenters seem to have a good breadth of knowledge and frankly, aren't trying to be too clever.
Here's an interview with Robin Hobb:
Trilogy? Nonology? Pen Names? Robin Hobb! - Sword & Laser ep. 15
and their episode on The Hobbit
The Hobbit Wrap-Up: December Book Club - Sword & Laser ep. 20

I've enjoyed that website on and off. I missed the Hobb interview - must go see. She's got a dodekology at this point, I think, working on a triskadekology, or some such. (13 books in the Farseer/Rain Wilds universe).
