Maria, yes. It's an intense blueish-purple. I've never seen anything like them. Here are more photos.

They don't have a long blooming period, but they are lovely and the foliage doesn't get ugly.

My husband took this picture of the moon yesterday evening with a hand held phone camera!

For comparison, my phone camera took this a minute later:

His phone broke and insurance sent him an upgrade instead of the exact phone he had. This is our first indication of just how good the camera is on the Galaxy S21. Mine's a Motorola One 5G Ace.

Edit: I have no idea why his phone turned the sky black.
It was blue at the time.

Maria, that's a pretty amazing picture for a hand-held phone camera! Mine is a an S21 Ultra, and while I have definitely gotten some great pictures with it, it is hard for me to imagine getting a moon shot like that. Something to strive for.

Here is one that I took yesterday of a friend that I dubbed "Icarus".

Here is a couple of shots of the coyote that I posted the video of, plus a few other friends from our walk today.

My husband spotted this one while mowing the other day. I picked it up while he mowed next to the tree and then put it back down where it had been. It immediately hid. Can you spot it in this photo?

But I wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't pointed it out.
