It's not possible to spam this thread (at least not with beautiful pictures of nature).

Those are such amazing photos, narya! I'm sure the camera helps a lot but the most important tool is the photographer's eye.

V, that's adorable.

Another deer chilling on someone's lawn. My shoe is in the shot to show how close to the sidewalk it is. And how little it cares.

Note the fashionably brown lawn. We are in a drought. Again.

I got home to find another deer in my front yard.

Wow. The deer are definitely much less skittish on the West coast.

The drought is such a shame. I'll take a photo of our lush green and post later today. It will likely get drier later in summer.

It actually looks farther away in the photo. It was like 5 feet tops.

Whereas my deer pictures look much closer than they actually were!

We never run across deer in our walks. I wonder how Willow would react?

Some idiot was walking a dog off-leash in my neighborhood, and a deer was minding its business just walking along the sidewalk. The dog ran after the deer, the deer ran across a busy intersection, and a car just barely managed to stop before it hit the dog.

It's pretty mundane around here compared to the West coast. Most days we walk in our neighborhood, but there's not much to look at; houses, farm fields. Occasionally we take a short drive to a Rails to Trails path (formerly a railroad track turned into a bike/walking path). They are common in our state.

That's beautiful, Rose!

Here are some pics from yesterday's dog walk. It was a bit difficult to take steady pictures while he was lunging at the passing dogs and people.

Snowy egret flying lessons.

WOW! I love them all! Stunning!

We'll have to take a drive to Lake Michigan and see if we can see gulls (seagulls.. lakegulls?) :D The wildlife is pretty skittish here.

Lovely irises, Rose!

And here are a few of today's nature photos from my bike ride around the island. The first set is of a Western Bluebird mom and kid.
