Tell Irika she may have all of ours.
We'll, maybe I'll keep a little for the holidays.
While this is the earliest I can recall us getting snow and I'm not thrilled about it, with as cold as it sometimes gets here we really need the ground cover or the plants suffer from freeze/thaw cycles.
My heart is forever in the Shire.

There's a prediction we might have a White Christmas in Ireland this year!

Is that unprecedented? Did you use to have them when you were a kid?

It used to be the norm when I was a kid. Now we get excited whenever it happens.

I can only recall one or two where we did not have snow.

Gorgeous!

Some beautiful views there! To be perhaps excessively nerdy, the first picture feels very Lórien-esque to me, with all those yellow leaves: "carpeted and roofed with gold" and all that.

My friend has used some filter. It’s not that gold in my pics.
Eldy, oooh I love that. I’ll let her know.

It's a little past peak here and it was a bit overcast today, but I thought these were worth sharing.

Impressive!
His philosophy was a mixture of three famous schools -- the Cynics, the Stoics and the Epicureans -- and summed up all three of them in his famous phrase, 'You can't trust any bugger further than you can throw him, and there's nothing you can do about it, so let's have a drink."

One more, from a day earlier when it was brighter out. Different park.
