Tell Irika she may have all of ours. :D We'll, maybe I'll keep a little for the holidays.

While this is the earliest I can recall us getting snow and I'm not thrilled about it, with as cold as it sometimes gets here we really need the ground cover or the plants suffer from freeze/thaw cycles.

There's a prediction we might have a White Christmas in Ireland this year!

Is that unprecedented? Did you use to have them when you were a kid?

It used to be the norm when I was a kid. Now we get excited whenever it happens.

I can only recall one or two where we did not have snow.

Went on a long 10-mile hike to a NY state park yesterday. Some boring bits, some gorgeous, some challenging.

Some beautiful views there! To be perhaps excessively nerdy, the first picture feels very Lórien-esque to me, with all those yellow leaves: "carpeted and roofed with gold" and all that. :P

My friend has used some filter. It’s not that gold in my pics. ;)

Eldy, oooh I love that. I’ll let her know.

It's a little past peak here and it was a bit overcast today, but I thought these were worth sharing.

Impressive!
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.
