no and no
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

I didn't know but I shouldn't be surprised. So's solving crossword clues, really.

When the night has been too lonely, and the road has been too long,
And you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong,
Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows,
Lies the seed, that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose.

I love the image it forms.
The photographer is Andy Ilachinski. He does the most amazing things with reflections on water:
They remind me of Zen paintings.
Okay, I'm done mulling.

Holby-dear, I'll say one of those is correct, if you can can put it in its "cryptic form".
BTW, the photos are from a site called

Well, poo.
I should have known that pronunciation might be a problem.
Holby and vison, you're both so close, I'm putting your answers together for the correct form.
Industrial Way = The Tao (but only if one knows that it's pronounced "Dao"...........sorry.)
I trust that you will find an amicable and mature way to decide which of you will provide the next clue.
