Some on the internet have speculated that the existence of the monument, as well as the other allusions to the character, could mean that a Fëanor flashback is on the way for the second season.
This seems like a bit of a stretch without any evidence other than the presence of a statue. ROP S1 had a bunch of statues of historical characters who (understandably!) didn't get flashbacks. But of course, things being a stretch have never stopped "some on the internet" from speculating.
That said, I disagree with Den of Geek that the current rights situation would prevent from Amazon from including Fëanor if they wanted to. There's more about Fëanor in the Appendices—and, I'm pretty sure, the entirety of LOTR—than there is about Finrod, who of coursed show up in S1. Amazon would presumably have to invent most of this hypothetical Fëanor content, but that's not so different from the show as a whole (e.g., they couldn't call Sauron Annatar because that name doesn't appear anywhere in LOTR).

They definitely don't seem Elvish, but who knows what these folk will do? Still having good talent can only be a good thing.

Yeah, I don't really see Ciarán Hinds playing an Elf, though I'm perhaps overly influenced by knowing him mostly through his roles in Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. Maybe Galadriel will revisit the Far North and meet the Forodwaith and their Mance Rayder-type leader or something.
ROP Elves looked more human, by which I mean less symmetrical features with fewer filters applied, than the PJ version. But I don't see Hinds as an Elf, either.
"What a place! What a situation! What kind of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter."
The usually but not always reliable Fellowship of Fans claims to have confirmation that there will be "two different Sauron character forms" in S2, indicating ROP will be utilizing Sauron's shapeshifting abilities.

I had to look that up too. From the Urban Dictionary:
zOMG is a varient of the all-too-popular acronym "OMG", meaning "Oh My God".
The "z" was originally a mistake while attempting to hit the shift key with the left hand, and type "OMG"
Also used in all-caps, 'ZOMG' is generally used in a sarcastic manner, more often than not a humiliating fasion. It is also used as a device for stating the obvious.
So, definitely an appropriate usage here.

During the panel conversation, actress Morfydd Clark shared a surprise about the second season, confirming that her canon character Galadriel will wear one of the previously forged Elven rings, and revealing that additional rings will be forged in the much-anticipated new season, giving fans a taste of what is to come.
That's about as big of a surprise as "Isildur is still alive!!!!!!1111" but still, good to know, I suppose.
