More seriously, I am very curious to see what they do. Strangely, they haven't announced any actors for the other band members. While Jerry was certainly the most compelling figure in the band, and there definitely was a cult of personality built around him (which arguably eventually led to his early death), the Grateful Dead was all about the whole being greater (grater?) than the parts, and at most he was first among equals. And despite the description in the article he was definitely not the "frontman". Indeed if the time period that is depicted is the band's early years, the front man was very much the late Ron "Pigpen" McKernan.
