My husband and I learned how to play sudoku a couple of weeks ago and are both hooked now. At first it took all my attention, but now I can solve the easy level while listening to an audio book. That's kind of fun, doing two different things with my brain at once. I'm starting to be able to solve the medium difficulty with audio book going now, too, but sometimes I have to pause the book. So it's not consistent.

Maria, I usually do sudoku while listening to an audio book, especially one with some tense situations. The sudoku is calming and grounding, somehow. I have the app Simon Tathum's Puzzles on my phone, free from the Google Play Store. The game called Solo is actually Sudoku (without the copyright issues). I use the 3x3 Intermediate - it's just my speed - but there is a wide variety of other options. It's a pleasant addiction. Oddly, I can partition my brain to do the book and game separately, but if I later do the game alone, wisps of the book come back into my head.
