I didn't start today's Squaredle until after 6:00 p.m. EDT, so I was able to turn on hints right at the start, and felt little shame in doing so since this was a 4/5 star difficulty puzzle. I'm pleased to have finished it all, really.

If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

Oh.. I'll dig up my Squardle scores, but I played them this morning. My streak is longer than 7 but I cleared my cache. I did Waffle and Hurdle too, but I've yet to do dordle, quordle, octordle, and sedecordle.

For her it’s “regular business”. People like us are the ones who get excited about it.

Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions
Oh come on! I haven't had anything less than a 3 in quite some time. Besides.. playing word games is kinda my 'job' these days. You folks all have more important things to do.
For a long time I used 2 standard starting words and could get it on 3 maybe.. 70% of the time?? But I've begun using only one starter word and evaluating what my second word will be based on the number of possibilities because otherwise I'll never get it on 2 unless it is my standard #2 word/low probability. Unless I'm in a hurry/not feeling up to putting in the effort, then I use my standard 2nd word.
