I am really (really, really, really) frustrated by those types of words!! As you may be able to tell, once I can see it's going to be one of 'those' words I choose a word with as many potential letter clues as possible.

Our daughter bought a home last fall. I feel like we've had a part-time (and sometimes full-time!) job over the past year; cleaning, paintig, new doors, more painting. Yard work. Tree trimming. We're falling behind on our own household chores. I hope your chores are things you can live with and work on in due time.

Congrats to your daughter! And I feel your pain LOL. I've booked a company and scheduled new doors / windows for March, and even managed to get a bit of painting done before the winter set in and opening windows for drying and smell mitigation became impossible. The rest can, and will wait until spring returns.

On a side note, has anyone noticed that Letter Garden now has an annoying chat bar down the right ? Even Firefox and the AdBlocker I have won't remove it. BAH! Just when I was beginning to enjoy that game . . . looks like I'll have to find something else (but not Wordle, Hurdle, Waffle, pancake, biscuits, etc., etc . . . )

Yep, that's the same site I was using, though I didn't sign in with a Microsoft account, I just used "Skip". Hmmmmm . . .

Firefox does a good job of blocking things but also perhaps; DuckDuckGo, Adblocker Ultimate, HTTPS everywhere, Privacy badger, Facebook container?

I cleared my nytimes.com cookies earlier today so I could read their Pelé obituary, so that wiped everything for Wordle and I forgot to turn hard mode on again. My guesses were all in accordance with its limitations, though.
