I don't always play in one sitting.

Neither do I, but since I don't log in with an "account" I start from zero every time. Having said that, I finally broke 100K - and made it to 130,521 . . . LOLOLOL It was the Peonies level (19?) and I think it took me just under 2 hours.

I think my longest (best) word was 8 letters, but I can't remember the actual word - I was actually shocked when I found it, LOL.

And there's a hint "button"?? I've seen a hint appear after a few seconds of inactivity but I'll have to look for that button . . .

Flower bombs:

You cannot earn any more after level 18/19 or once you use one (I believe), whichever comes first.

Exactly. I noticed a message at the upper left - once I used a flower bomb, it said I won't earn any more. So I try to avoid using that thing until I get well into the upper teens levels and it gets harder to clear the entire board.

Once I get moved and settled, maybe I'll be able to up that dismal best score, LOL. But Level 65??? Ai yi yi . . . *feels faint*

Re: Letter Garden. It took a long time to get to level 65 so I doubt I'll ever top that (or even try). Not that I feel I couldn't if I tried, but it just takes so LONG (and our internet is crappy). The HINT button only shows up on it's own. If you want it to appear, try to make a few attempts and it shows up quicker thank if you just wait. Or at least it seems to show up quicker.

Oh pooh. So close and yet.. so far.

Finished today's Waffle just minutes before the deadline, when the page automatically refreshes to show the new puzzle. I started shifting letters around despite only having guesses for half the words, and remarkably it didn't turn into a disaster.

I don't know if this needs to be in a spoiler but since Eldy has hers in a spoiler I'll follow suit. I had a choice between 2 for the final final and chose the wrong one too. And I'd done so well narrowing it down from about 20 words for the first half of the final!

Thanks Rose! For the HINT info -and- the good luck wishes. I'm actually looking forward to finally getting into the place so I can clean it from top to bottom, and get a few needed trades folks in (for just the basics before the *you-know-what* starts to fly.) Then, once the movers have come and gone, it's like Christmas - every box I open will be an adventure . . . har!

And come Spring - OI VEY!!! I have a list longer than both my arms of things to get done, inside and out!

Our daughter bought a home last fall. I feel like we've had a part-time (and sometimes full-time!) job over the past year; cleaning, paintig, new doors, more painting. Yard work. Tree trimming. We're falling behind on our own household chores. I hope your chores are things you can live with and work on in due time.
