Terry Pratchett on screen - The Watch

Post by Frelga »

The Watch, "inspired by" Terry Pratchett's Ankh-Morpork novels, began filming.

I am not super optimistic. "Inspired By" rarely works out with works that are as well written as the Discworld series. Also, the lead writer is Simon Allen, who made The Musketeers an unwatchable mess, IMO, despite Dumas being a great deal easier to adapt. But one can hope.
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.
