Oh dear. I spoke with my mom today and she told me 'all the signs are there' for the end of the world as we know it/WWIII. We're all doomed.

'Normal' was a poor choice of a word on my part. Playing fast & loose with facts/natural occurrences and attributing them to the fault of one person with God meting out particular punishment -along with the ominous 'many more things to come' as if she can see into the future- is just plain silly.

This (the killing of these aid workers) and that military aid has not been cut will be a huge problem for the Biden administration.

I can't say if he's right, but I believe people tend to get overwhelmed and think, 'all politicians are bad/corrupt'. It's why the right has spent so much time on Biden's impeachment & the Hunter Biden story.

Agreed. But that is not the issue, is it? It's the unscrupulous USE of religion for personal gain that is the problem. It's disgusting.
