Well, NYPL is huge. It’s made up of so many branches - I guess they don’t bother with consortiums.

I mean... our own primary method of communications is blowing air over strings of flesh, modulated by the fleshy hole it passes through. When you think about it, having that same method develop in a different ecology is mindbogglingly slim. They're Made out of Meat I always love re-reading that.
