I don't think he was wrong. I think he intentionally put out something false to incite his 'base' and elicit donations to his fundraiser.

Jude, are you referring to (what I think is) a metal wall scroll/decor above the archway? I recently bought something like that. Mine is a vine with silver leaves.

Since the information that Trump would be arrested today came from an unreliable narrator (Trump himself), it's possible he lied to generate outrage & protests on his behalf. If that is the case, I imagine today has been a great disappointment.
