Re: Games, Riddles, Puzzles, and other Distractions

I start with the same animal every time, and depending on what shared category shows up next, I pick something as wildly divergent as the category allows.
I don't know the category definitions and have to re-read every time.

Re: AI! AI! A ChatGPT is come!

I got curious and signed up on ChatGPT. Here's my first interaction with it: User Have you read "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert Heinlein? ChatGPT I don't have the ability to read books or any other external content, but I have information on a wide range of topics, including "...

Re: The (no longer) much too early 2024 election thread

Awwwww.... I just found out I don't get to crash the Republican primary this year. Missouri has always allowed anyone to vote in either party primary, regardless of whether or not you are actually in that party. I don't get to do that this year, they've decided to caucus instead- and in order to par...

We've been watching "Grimm" again. It's amazing how much we forgot about a show that aired only 10 years ago or so.

Oh, good! You mean I won't see twitter excerpts anymore? I've never willingly looked at a twitter *anything* and have been actively avoiding threads where they pop up all the time.

Re: What are you reading?

I've been really enjoying this series: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25499718-children-of-time Children of Time. The science in this fiction is impeccable. The characters are riveting. The plot twists are unpredictable. I absolutely love this series and not just because I can't guess where it'...
