Welcome Squiddy. :D Do you even post much on TORC these days? I really haven't seen you anywhere in a long time.

Don't make me hug you V.

I havn't been around much anywhere.

I really had to cut down on my computer time about a year ago so I went cold turkey for a month or six.

Then I just got out of the habit.

It's so hard to keep up with everyone and the whole TORC thing got me down but that's a whole other story for another galaxy.

In my galaxy Han shoots first, damn it!

Glad you like them - happy hobbits like to select happy smilies, I guess! :D :D :D

Pearl!!! - Anne of Green Gables in your Avatar - I can't help it, I have to swoooOOOOOOOoooooooooon!

Edited to add: at least Anne was there for two minutes when I first opened the page. :bawl:
Well, the new one isn't bad, either! ;)

Hobbi, I just changed my avatar back to Lizzy and Darcy again. :help:

Think you can cope with that? :P

Think you can manage a swoon for the Darce, eh?

The Anne-girl is now my default icon on my LJ, so you'll be seeing her again! :)

Too many pretty iconses and avatars to choose from, that's my problem!

Oooh - I'll be visiting your lj faithfully then! :D

Nothing against Lizzy and Darcy here - especially under that heading!

SwoooOOOOoooon for happy endings!

I've never seen the Colin Firth series again since it was first broadcast, though, so I don't know if it would make me swoon!

Oooooh - thanks, Pearl!

(Love the quote in your sig, btw! :) )

Lali is a fan of Anne of Green Gables, too - and of the Kevin Sullivan mini-series?
Good woman! :D

Well, she's certainly a fan of the books. :)

I've not read them for decades but Anne was certainly one of my favourite childhood heroines. I was an intensely imaginative child and she pushed all my buttons. A 'kindred spirit' indeed.

I loved the Kevin Sullivan miniseries. Thought it was better than the books. And Megan Follows was a perfect Anne.

Yes, I love that Frodo quote from the Collected Letters. :) I'd have made it longer, but unfortunately there's a word limit in signatures. ;)

Welcome, Nin!!!!
