No, as I say, quite a bit earlier. When I say "on the right track" I mean it is said about a character who (to me at least) has a similar feeling to Túrin. But not necessarily the same race as he is.

ETA: Here is the quote again to bring on to this page:

"Don't hurry! More than you know. Give him peace."
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

Indeed it is!
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

Before. (But not long before.)
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

If this is correct, then it got drastically shortened:
Be not hasty! We ask a greater thing than thou knowest. Let him have peace yet awhile.
Aulë to Tulkas and the others present.

Yup, that's it. And yes it was shortened pretty good. Particularly the second sentence. Well done!

I thought this would be easy, because it had a proper name in it. But then Translationparty replaced the name with "he" at the last minute:
He always worked, even though he thought he worked for him.

Oh, there it is.
Saruman was doing its work all the time, even when he thought he was working for himself.
