The A's did actually win the series against the Yankees, or they would have but a safe call at the plate was overturned on review even though there was really no clear way to see that the ump was wrong.

Her teeth are white, like clean, healthy sheep. And I had the slopes of Gilead bit explained to me as how a big flock of black and brown goats would look from a distance in the sun, kind of shiny.

Song of Solomon is in the Christian Bible, but in my church we don't read from it anymore. Tired of jumping through hoops trying to phrase a somewhat erotic love song as a (rather tortured, to put it mildly) metaphor for Christ's love for the church.
