The weather here today is so perfectly fall-like that I might try to take a couple of pictures. I am SUCh a terrible photographer, though.

Still, you guys oughta see Mt. Baker.

I like them all. Especially the second-to-last one.

What a nice way to spend your birthday.

Happy Birthday, Voronwë, and many happy returns.

I know I rarely post here, but I just finished this set of leaves for some notecards I'm making & I thought this would be a good place to post 'em:

And I'm super jealous, Voronwë, but I'm so glad you got to spend your birthday doing something so wonderful.

Beautiful pics, cem and Voronwë!
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

I love that we have such a fantastic view of the sunset out our living room windows.

I can't seem to help but take tons of pictures of it, too. Here's some of my favorites:

:( It's too big to really tell what it is. Is it a volcanic ash cloud? Or a really cool lenticular cloud?
