Perhaps the fact that organs in South Africa are being harvested for Israeli implanting might add a little bit of credence to these other accusations. It is all too easy to dismiss every comment as founded in this mythical blood libel, but sometimes we can reject acts that really happen for fear of being identified as racist if we entertain them.
This activity is actually happening. Perhaps condemning Swedish commentary is a touch premature.
Of course, this in no way supports the historic blood libel, which has been used for centuries as an attack against Jews. But neither should a heinous invention, such as the blood libel, be used as an immediate refutation against any and all present accusations. It is as bad to use the blood libel as a defense as it is as an assault.
