My son has been living in Italy for almost 2 years now so I thought I would share some of his pics:
This is in Sicily at a place called Ragusa the old city of Ragusa from the Middle Ages.
This castle is where the monk in LadyHawk (the movie) lived and is just south of L'Aquila in Italy:
