Snopes.com says Mr. Ed wasn't a horse!

I can't believe this. It's just not possible.

Horses have recognizable faces, and zebra conformation is definitely different!

My faith in snopes is damaged.

I don't call it falling for it, when I didn't believe them! :P I knew they were wrong. It just took me a while to spot their disclaimer/explanation. Now I'm going to have to check every writeup for such things. AND look for more sources if it seems wrong.

The 'click on this button to see what a zebra looks like' was a dead giveaway. :rotfl:

You should read the other entries in the Lost Legends section. The one about why KFC changed it's name was particularly amusing.

I like the pirate one, which I absolutely have never fallen for. Ever.

I like the false IMDB page they created for The Poseidon Adventure.
"Spirits in the shape of hawks and eagles flew ever to and from his halls; and their eyes could see to the depths of the seas, and pierce the hidden caverns beneath the world."

I never believed the one about the KFC but soooo many people I know believed it right away. I once had a heated debate about it with a friend about it. Sometimes people can fall for anything.
PS: I fell for the zebra thing. I was indeed quite confused about it and skeptical but I have geown to trust websites more than I should I guess...
