Alatar, you don't want to cheer him in Welcome? That's what Trump is saying the protesters are doing. How anyone cannot see that as delusional I don't know. Either he's delusional or (probably correctly) assumes those who support him will only watch the (virtually) State-run Trump Channel where he can control the narrative and they will only show clips of him saying "'Fake news', there were no protesters."
Trump had a rally about 5 miles from here in 2016. I stayed home, but our neighbors went to the roadshow.

He doesn't visit us much. It's not that he can't get a welcome - if he picks the right city he'd draw a welcoming crowd. But the altitude can be hard on people. He's an old man. Maybe he just can't do a rally here.

He obviously didn't listen to a thing the Irish PM said and went with his own narrative, as per usual.
I cannot .. simply can not.. understand the people who think Trump is a good choice for.. anything. Rebranding. He's good at that.
