That article is a lot less easy to whole-heartedly digest - the libertarian side of me winces at the "there are no individuals" notion, for one - but it is definitely still some really good food for thought.

I've been sharing that skit with people from You Tube. Tom Hanks is one of the few actors that could pull that off. That he brought his A game to a SNL skit (to several of them this time around) is pretty damn impressive. And the skit itself... is really, really interesting. Funny but not light, with odd moments of poignancy and an admirable adroitness at playing with cliches.
