Yup! Your turn Inanna.

When you look at the original, does the "meme" word make sense?

Wow! My hail-Varda shot hit the mark!

"High above the lands lies the house of Mîm, upon the great hill."

It just so happens that I brought The Silmarillion to work today :D

Fortunately I've got it with me because it's my reading material during my lunch and coffee breaks.

But let's jump ahead into the Third Age with this next quote:
Have read his book! Good heaven above! Is there anything safe?

Is that Frodo? In Conspiracy Unmasked, perhaps?
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

‘You have read his book!’ cried Frodo. ‘Good heavens above! Is nothing safe?’

Barely changed.

Oh, right, sorry.

I will support you from the bottom of the cloak until this darkness is still dark.

Were many key words preserved?

And was "until" originally "while"?

The translated words are a good representation of the quote. I think the quote has until, but I'll check when I get home.

Does the original have the phrase "cloak of darkness"? Or is there an actual cloak that you can wear?
