Thank you for the welcome!
I happened upon the site looking for lore and knowledge, and it seems I have found an excellent source!

Look forward to exploring these halls of knowledge and friendship, and again thank you!

Welcome, Gotobangzx! (Interesting name!)

We hope you'll join the conversation.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Hullo, Heliona!
If there was anything that depressed him more than his own cynicism, it was that quite often it still wasn't as cynical as real life.

Welcome, Sheep! I warn you, we have a lot of German Shepherds and Border collies hereabouts. . . .

I don't know for sure, but I have a guess based on Sheep!'s email address.

I think Sheep! is our fellow m00ter extraordinaire! (There is an exclamation mark in there; I just realized. I think that makes sense.)

In either case, Sheep! should go look at the Cat & Puppy thread in Bag End to see Maria's newest addition to the farm.
