TV obsessions—come on, admit it!

Currently on Episode 3. It's got very bad reviews, but I'm enjoying it so far!

I didn't bother with reviews beforehand, and I'm glad I didn't.

We've started the audiobook over again (since we couldn't remember it) and the changes are significant. This is perhaps the first time I've liked a TV/movie version of a book better than the original book version.

I did start Lost in Space last night. Anyone else watching it? I adored this show as a kid. (I spent countless hours playacting it, always with the dilemma of whether to be Penny—smart—or Judy—pretty. Penny usually won.) Anyway, I liked it well enough to want to watch another episode.

I did start watching Derry Girls on YouTube. It's quite funny! But I am not gonna lie--it is hard to understand the accents! And closed captioning is ridiculous for it.

Lali, I too loved Lost in Space as a kid—it was one of the things Mom and I did together, like watching Gemini rocket launches. We'd go down to the basement and watch it on our 13-inch black-and-white TV. Dad and my brother weren't interested. I'm planning to watch this, but Tom's interested, too, and it's hard to squeeze out the time. We're watching politics every night these days—not all evening, but Tom needs to go to bed pretty early.

We haven't even finished season 2 of Stranger Things.

I find myself with no emotional bandwidth for any sort of fictional drama right now, but I'm enjoying the cooking shows. Especially the ones with Guy Fieri. Every other cooking celebrity is all, "This could use a bit more brightness" , and, "I'm not getting quite enough pineapple flavor here." And then there's Guy. "It's food! And you cooked it! And I get to eat it!" He's just so happy about food.

Check out Nailed It on Netflix then. I laughed till I cried. (I am like you in that I can rarely take in dramatic fiction. The only fiction I can handle right now is funny. Derry Girls is damn funny, btw. Plus the music is really good.)

Also, I breezed through Queer Eye and thought it was very entertaining and sweet.

True to the original in that way, I guess, but not really worth my time.

My new favourite thing is "Crazy Ex Girlfriend". I love, love, love, love that show. Currently nearing the end of Season 1.

(I see that they're on Season 4 now, but only Season 1 exists on DVD? )

Its on Netflix Jude? I think I'm up to date, but I haven't seen Season 4 hit yet...

I enjoyed the first season or so, but it seemed to peter out some time after that, and I quit watching before the end. Which isn't shocking, I suppose; the premise isn't exactly one that lends itself to indefinite extension.

I can understand that - from where I am, the main premise is that Rebecca either succeeds in getting back together with Josh, or amicably moves on with her life - that should be settled by the end of Season 1. But is it? I don't know - don't tell me!

If she's dealing with the same issue over three seasons, I can see it getting overstretched. For now I'll just watch and enjoy.

I watched a couple episodes of Krypton, wasn't hooked, but this Twitter ad by WB is about the least suspenseful TV ad ever.

The future of the world all depends on the House of El. Will Superman be saved?

I'm going with yes here.
