eborr, I know you think thats clever and cryptic, but if I read that I'd guess it straight away. Playing spoilers with other peoples enjoyment isn't nice.
alatar you astound me with your perspecasity(sp) however without wishing to sound pompous, I took the view that the remarks were suffiently Uk orientated that someone outside the British isles, eg the folk who could not see Dr Who would be unlikely to pick them up without at least a small amount of googling. btw I have thougt about what you said and with quiet contemplation, and I find you remark offensive. a throwback to the banning days of torc with it's personal jibe and lack of tolerance. I will however not stoop

I still haven't seen the penultimate episode, the second Library one. And the final episode won't be shown here until Friday. (I didn't get eborr's hint.)
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

I just caught up with Midnight; I missed it when I was in Gibraltar. Very good, it was claustrophobic and humanistic and had the wonderful, wonderful Lesley Sharp in it. If this is going to be the standard for the next series I am more than happy.

SPOILER ALERT - spoiled with white text - highlight with mouse to read
Season Finale-
Is David Tennant both Doctor #10 and Doctor #11?
Pro: He did use the regeneration energy. I know of no way he can reuse it now that it was used. It created a human Doctor with all the Doctor's knowledge, that he left in the other universe with Rose.
Con: He didn't change faces.
Edit to add spoil.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

The PHP in this site doesn't include spoil tags, unfortunately. Actually there's a lot of PHP code not included on the Tolkien forums that is used on other forums.
It's been about a month, eventually people should be allowed to talk about plot details.
