Bravo! You sound and look wonderful, Alatar. Your Evita has quite a lovely voice, too.

I simply must go see one of your productions someday. Give plenty of warning next time you're in a starring role, and I'll see what I can arrange.
Take my hand, my friend. We are here to walk one another home.

That looks like a well-crafted production. Clips would be great when you can get them!

ETA-Well that will teach me to not check which page I'm on. Thanks!

WONDERFUL.
“There, peeping among the cloud-wrack above a dark tor high up in the mountains, Sam saw a white star twinkle for a while. The beauty of it smote his heart, as he looked up out of the forsaken land, and hope returned to him. For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach.”

Very impressive!

Those were great!

Are you still a bass-baritone? Because your upper range is sounding in great shape.

Still very much a Bass Jude, but this is quite light in the upper range so I could float a lot. Wasn't very precise on some of the entries though, not used to coming in on a high F! :)

Voronwë echoed my first thought - you look a good 10 years younger than when I last saw you.

Oh, and congrats!

Just saw "Matilda" on Broadway. It was fabulous. Clever, funny, poignant and sneakily dark in all the right places. I think Roald Dahl would have approved.

I didn't realize that the music and lyrics were by Tim Minchin. I have never liked him as a performer, but I have renewed respect for him as a musician after seeing this show!

Highly recommend...probably not for kids under the age of ten, though!
