Eurovision, Baby!

Post by Impenitent »

Who watched?

M and I usually get up at 5am to watch it live, and enthusiastically debate and participate in the voting. This year, commitments got in the way of the live viewing so we're watching the final replay.

Anyone else consider this a can't-miss event?

For the record, my choices:
Portugal
Italy
Switzerland
Malta
Ukraine
Finland ....metalheads and proud!
Lithuania

Also...I confess myself immediately turned off by the performers who are all about the sexy.

Posted before knowing the results.

Mornings wouldn't suck so badly if they came later in the day.

I used to, but the last decade or so it stopped being a song contest and became about voting blocs. Its a pity, as I really used to enjoy it.
