Does anyone know of a good internet site where I could buy and download REALLY old stuff? I want to make a CD for my Mum for Christmas.

A surprising number of standards are available via iTunes.

I think you should look for all of them between iTunes, Amazon.com, and Wal-mart.com. Then, whatever you can't find, you let us know. Sunny found you one already, and I think there are people who are willing to help. Plus, iTunes is different in the different countries, so we may be able to find something here that you can't there. And, then, we can always rip stuff off of youtube, if it can be found, and send it off to you.

Just a thought! I know you're doing this for your mom. :)

It must be a pain for OK Go to keep having to try and top their videos now. But as long as they keep doing stuff like this...

I love that video. I saw it the other day and happily smiling to myself.
From the ashes, a fire shall be woken. A light from the shadow shall spring. Renewed shall be blade that was broken. The crownless again shall be king.

 Awesome! My kids were mesmerized!
There is magic in long-distance friendships. They let you relate to other human beings in a way that goes beyond being physically together and is often more profound.

I moved the posts about MIA's violent, sexually explicit music video "Born Free" to a separate thread in Lasto at Wilma's request.

Awww that is so cute!!!

Although I am more familiar with some of the members of Broken social scene rather then the whole collective, I have always liked how they narrow things down and make things so simple and wonderful at the same time. (I didn't know they had another album out).

Thought I would post a couple of vids as I finally got back into music video watching after 7 months with no cable.

First a nice oldie that sent me on a search for this video for years (I probably already posted it, but it does not hurt to give it a go again)
Love don't let me go (walking away) Mashups are amazing!!

Kanye West's newest video.
Power The makers say it's not actually a music video and I sort of agree. (This is the censored version)

And just because I feel like it
I feel it in my bones A collaboration made in heaven. :)

I'll post some comments in another post as I don't want to spoil.
